This is a big deal…

Our boy, Brett, will be representing Roast and Milwaukee this Friday at Alterra Humboldt for a latte art throwdown.  It’s not a typical throwdown like Roast has hosted in the past, but one where Milwaukee will be competing against Chicago.  It’s like no other event in the coffee industry.  This will be the first of its kind.

Back in June, a bunch of baristas gathered at Alterra to compete at a preliminary Latte Art Throwdown for a spot on the Milwaukee team.  The top 10 baristas advance…our boy, Brett-Boy-Wonder, placed 9th.  He is the only barista that is a non-Alterra person to secure a spot.

So this Friday, there will be a live feed where both Milwaukee and Chicago baristas will pour latte art that will be judged online.  The winners will be able to take the crown and have bragging rights.  Good luck, Milwaukee.
