To say that Ryan knows a thing or two about coffee is an understatement. Before Ryan opened Roast, he spent numerous years working and learning just how the coffee world works. It was then when he decided he wanted to share his love and excitement for coffee. Thus, becoming an owner and running his own coffee shop, was quite an obvious choice. Ryan is thoroughly dedicated to make sure that Roast not only continually serves top quality coffee and espresso, but to make sure your coffee experience is exceptional on every level. A little known fact about Ryan, he is an absolute fanatic about water skiing! Curious to know what fuels the boss? A double short 120° latte does the trick.

Jeremiah has been apart of Roast since the doors have opened. It is no question that Jeremiah is definitely comfortable behind the espresso machine. With his laid back and friendly attitude, sparking up a conversation is quite easy. Go ahead, share a story, he would enjoy the chat. Not only is Jeremiah a pro at pouring a great latte, he is a master at graphic design as well. Jeremiah has designed numerous pieces for Roast ranging from our food and drink menus to none other than the Roast logo. Jeremiah's drink of choice? Sipping cocktail style, a soy Americano misto over ice.

Working with a smile on her sleeve, Lindsey is one of the friendliest people you'll meet. Lindsey is not only dedicated to being a great employee but she is also dedicated to make Roast as environmentally sound as possible. Splitting her time between Roast and getting her degree in conservation environmental sciences at UW–Milwaukee, Lindsey designs and makes her own clothing. You'll find Lindsey working weekend mornings, most likely with a creamy hot chocolate sprinkled with cinnamon in hand.

Brett, Bart, Boy Wonder, our Shining Star…whatever you want to call him, he's new, he's awesome and he is here to stay. Brett works weekend nights and doing it classy. When Brett isn't serving up some delicious drinks, he's attending UW–Milwaukee to pursue his degree in marketing and entrepreneurship. To keep up with his studies and work, Brett drinks a 12 ounce latte in the morning and regenerates with a doppio in the afternoon.

Starting in the fall of 2007, Brian has helped out tremendously at Roast by filling in shifts whenever needed. Not only that, Brian is also lending a helping hand by doing all the photography for our website. When he is not snapping pictures, he devotes his time to his studies, English and creative writing. Brian is even working on writing a book on the philosophy of skateboarding. To keep the creative process flowing, Brian drinks a mocha steamed to 120° with an extra shot of chocolate and espresso.
